About Golf For Sistahs
GFS was created to introduce Sistahs of all colors to the game of golf; the game that is played for a lifetime. The game has grown in popularity not just because it is fun and competitive, but because of its attributes of the game, like honesty, integrity, honor, respect, and comradery. Corporate America has embraced the game for these reasons and for business reasons like marketing and networking.
GFS vision is not just for mature Sistahs, but youth Sistahs being exposed to this great game and its attributes. While GFS focuses on exposing Sistahs to the game of golf, the Brothas are invited as well. We will have skilled Brothas that understand the game of golf to mix and mingle with the Sistahs for social and business networking, and of course for golf tips and talks.
PGA Tour Superstore Golf Experience
July 1st, 2022 | 7 pm to 10 pm EST
The PGA Tour Superstore golf experience is the kick-off event of the Golf For Sistahs (GFS) weekend. The PGA Tour Superstore closes its doors for this exclusive, invitation-only event for GFS attendees. The Golf Experience includes golf instructions, swing simulation and instructions, and putting instructions and contests. PGA Tour Superstore golf pros and staff are on hand to show new golf equipment and clothing that are available at a discount for the GFS attendees.
GFS Golf Jazz & Jams
GFS Jazz and Jams features professional musicians performing live. Enjoy an evening of life jazz music, and DJ playing spinning your favorite jams. Network with other Sistahs who are business executives, entrepreneurs, and sports enthusiasts.
GFS transformed the PGA Superstore with ice sculptures, and décor to set the stage for an evening of drinks, food, jazz, jams and golf. Event Engineers and GFS have worked with national recording artist, like jazz artist Frank McComb, who has collaborated with Prince, Chaka Khan, Branford Marsalis, George Duke, Frankie Beverly, Phyllis Hyman, Layla Hathaway and Fred Hammond.
GFS Golf Fashion Show
The PGA Tour Superstore golf Fashion show is a signature event at the PGA Tour Superstore Experience.
Sistahs model golf apparel, hats, and shoes, for brands like Adidas, Nike, PGA Tour, Under Armor, Foot Joy, Puma, and many others. GFS is in the process of developing its private-labeled line of women’s golf clothing that will capture the chic urban style of Golf For Sistahs.
GFS Golf Outing
July 2nd, 2022 | 8 am to 8 pm EST
The 2022 Golf For Sistahs ATL Golf Outing will be held at the City Club Marietta, Hilton Atlanta Marietta Hotel Golf course, located in Marietta, GA. Golfers will feel the real on-course golf experience, as they take their GFS golf instructions to the course. Experienced golfers will be paired with beginners and Golf Pros will on the course to give in-game instructions on golf rules, golf etiquette and golf shot situations.
